Monofocal glasses for corrective eyeglasses are designed for near vision, or far vision not like progressive glasses for both vision defects. The advantages of this type of glasses are, of course, the lower price than that of progressive glasses, the cost of which is significantly higher. Monofocal glasses can be fitted to any type of frame depending on the ones previously selected at the optician. Ordered glasses can be modified, choose the degree of hardening, and the material from which they are made, so that they do not weigh too much on our head. Perfectly selected glasses will allow us to function fully normally in the world even if we have severe visual impairment. Ill-fitting glasses can cause headaches, malaise, coordination problems as well as, most importantly, deterioration of vision.
